Much wailing and gnashing of teeth from the hyped up media writers who seem to think that Britain still rules the waves and no other country could possibly be entitled to host a football match. Well first they need to understand that most of the footballers who play here are not english and secondly that we forfeited long ago our right to rule the world and lord it over those pesky foreigners. That applies in many areas including fighting wars in distant countries as well as believing that no on else could possibly do it better.
