This is the guy who is predicting the end of the world as we know it in 2012. Not sure how grumpy he really is about it but he sure is making our olympics spending look a bit unnecessary and there will be quite a few grumpy sponsors around if that happens

Nobody likes to be the bearer of bad news — certainly not me.

If the 2012 message was all doom and gloom, you’d be better off
watching a funny movie.

We will all die eventually, 2012 or no 2012. Maybe a truck will run
over you tomorrow.

You still have to live your life as though it’s important.

It’s really more important than you know.

That’s always been true, but on December 21, 2012 it will become
obvious to everybody.
